Dr. Baojin Ding received his Bachelor of medicine (MD equivalent) and MS in Clinical Laboratory in China, and obtained his PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2010 from Louisiana State University. After his postdoctoral training in Neuroscience in the laboratories of Drs. Daniel Kilpatrick and Vivian Budnik at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Dr. Ding has worked as a research faculty in UT Southwestern Medical Center for 2 years, and as a Tenure Track Assistant Professor in the University of Louisiana at Lafayette for 3 years. In January 2022, Dr. Ding joined the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology in LSU Health Shreveport as an Assistant Professor (tenure track). The research of the Ding laboratory focuses on molecular and cellular neuroscience and related neurological diseases.
